J&#8217;ai r\u00e9cemment f\u00eat\u00e9 mes 30 ans de carri\u00e8re dans le monde de l&#8217;entra\u00eenement. J&#8217;ai pass\u00e9 beaucoup de temps \u00e0 parcourir le monde pour donner des formations en fran\u00e7ais et en anglais pour les entra\u00eeneurs et th\u00e9rapeutes. Les consignes que l&#8217;on entend souvent sont les suivantes : &#8221; reculer les hanches en premier &#8220;, &#8221; mettre le poids sur les talons &#8220;, &#8221; les genoux ne doivent pas aller vers l&#8217;avant &#8220;, &#8221; les tibias et le tronc doivent \u00eatre parall\u00e8les &#8221; et &#8221; gardez le tronc droit &#8220;. Bien que ces consignes ne soient pas intrins\u00e8quement incorrectes, elles peuvent \u00eatre mal interpr\u00e9t\u00e9es. Comme je le dis souvent, une consigne ne fait que rappeler, elle n&#8217;enseigne pas. Il est essentiel de comprendre les raisons de ces consignes et de savoir quand les utiliser \u00e0 bon escient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Examinons ces consignes de plus pr\u00e8s :<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reculer les hanches en premier :<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Cette consigne est souvent utilis\u00e9e pour corriger la tendance des individus \u00e0 plonger dans leurs genoux pendant les squats. Cependant, son application universelle peut modifier le centre de gravit\u00e9, entra\u00eenant une trajectoire involontaire de la barre vers l&#8217;avant. La cl\u00e9 est de d\u00e9verrouiller simultan\u00e9ment les hanches et les genoux, en maintenant une trajectoire verticale de la barre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mettre le poids sur les talons :<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Cette consigne s&#8217;adresse aux personnes qui ont tendance \u00e0 squatter sur l&#8217;avant-pied. Bien qu&#8217;il soit essentiel de corriger cette tendance, le fait d&#8217;envoyer le poids sur les talons et de perdre le contact avec les orteils et l&#8217;avant-pied peut compromettre la stabilit\u00e9 du squat. En mettant l&#8217;accent plut\u00f4t sur la r\u00e9partition du poids sur l&#8217;ensemble du pied, y compris le milieu du pied, on obtient une position bien ancr\u00e9e et une trajectoire verticale de la barre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Les genoux ne doivent pas aller vers l\u2019avant :<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Contrairement \u00e0 la croyance populaire, il est acceptable de laisser les genoux avancer, et le degr\u00e9 d\u2019excursion des genoux vers les orteils d\u00e9pend des proportions individuelles. Les proportions, y compris la longueur du tibia, ont une incidence sur le moment du genou et de la hanche dans le squat. L\u00e0 encore, c&#8217;est la trajectoire verticale de la barre qui est d\u00e9terminante, et la restriction du mouvement des genoux ne doit \u00eatre conseill\u00e9e que si elle compromet la stabilit\u00e9 ou la trajectoire de la barre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Les tibias et le tronc doivent \u00eatre parall\u00e8les :<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> L&#8217;applicabilit\u00e9 de ce conseil d\u00e9pend des proportions individuelles et du type de squat ex\u00e9cut\u00e9. Par exemple, un squat arri\u00e8re \u00e0 barre basse est par nature plus dominant au niveau des hanches et conduit naturellement \u00e0 une inclinaison du tronc vers l&#8217;avant.\u00a0 Il est peu probable que le tronc et les tibias soient parall\u00e8les lors d&#8217;un squat arri\u00e8re \u00e0 barre basse, car les tibias restent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement verticaux.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Gardez le tronc droit:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bien que la rigidit\u00e9 du tronc pour r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la flexion sous la charge soit essentielle dans le squat, des indications telles que &#8220;tronc droit&#8221; peuvent \u00eatre trompeuses. Pour les personnes dont le squat est dominant aux hanches, tenter de garder le tronc droit peut entra\u00eener des tensions dans le bas du dos en raison d&#8217;une extension excessive du bas du dos. Cela est souvent d\u00fb au fait qu&#8217;ils confondent \u201cdroit\u201d et \u201cvertical\u201d.\u00a0 Il est essentiel de mettre l&#8217;accent sur un levier rigide, plut\u00f4t que sur un tronc droit, pour maintenir une forme correcte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le squat est un mouvement tr\u00e8s individuel, influenc\u00e9 par des facteurs tels que la dorsiflexion de la cheville, les proportions et les habitudes de mouvement. Il en ressort que les consignes ne doivent pas \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re universelle, mais adapt\u00e9es aux besoins de chaque individu. N&#8217;oubliez pas qu\u2019une consigne est un rappel, mais n\u2019enseigne pas.
